This policy explains what personal information Xcursion Pontoon Boats (“Xcursion”, “we”, “us”) collects through xcursionpontoons.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the topic you pick and your message. We use it to answer you.
• Purchase inquiries: your name, email, phone (optional), ZIP or postal code, the model and timeframe you’re interested in, and your message. We use it to answer you and to connect you with an authorized Xcursion dealer near you.
• Warranty registration: the selling dealership, hull identification number (HIN), model, model year and date sold, and your name, email, phone and mailing address. We use it to keep your boat’s warranty on file, handle warranty claims, and contact you about your boat, including any safety notices.
• Dealer search: the ZIP code or city you type is used to find nearby dealers. We don’t save your searches.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our web server records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We use it to keep the site secure and working.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use Google’s tag (through Google Site Kit) for Google Ads, to measure how well our ads work, and for Google Analytics, to understand how the site is used. These services may set cookies and receive information about your visit, such as pages viewed and your IP address. Where the law requires your consent, these tools run in a limited, cookieless mode unless you consent.

You can control ad personalization in Google’s ad settings and opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Our fonts are served by Google Fonts and our maps by Google Maps, so Google receives your IP address when those load. WordPress sets cookies only for people who sign in to manage the site.

How we share information

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only:

• with authorized Xcursion dealers, for inquiries and warranty registrations, so they can help you;
• with service providers that run the site and our email for us, including our web host, Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES, which delivers form emails) and Google, under their own privacy terms;
• when required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Xcursion, our customers or others;
• with a buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized.

How long we keep it

We keep messages and inquiries as long as we need them to respond and follow up. We keep warranty registrations for as long as the warranty may apply to the boat. Server logs are kept for a limited time by our host.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and we’ll respond as required by the law where you live. Contact us using the details below. We won’t discriminate against you for making a request.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the information you send us, but no website or email system is completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
